The second single from the US rock group's self-titled debut album, Home, charted on the US Billboard Hot 100 weeks before its official release as a single. Peaking at No. 5, it became Daughtry's second Top 5 single after It's Not Over.
It topped both the Billboard Adult Top 40 and the Adult Contemporary charts.
It was also nominated for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals at the Grammy Awards.

Daughtry was formed and is fronted by Chris Daughtry, who finished fourth on the fifth season of US reality TV singing series American Idol in 2006.
He had turned down US post-grunge band Fuel's offer to be their lead singer and signed with 19 Entertainment and RCA Records, during which he held auditions for Daughtry.
This is now...
American Idol has wrapped up its 15th and final season. Daughtry performed at the finale alongside a slew of Idol alumni and said he couldn't thank the show enough for helping him find success.
"It has been the biggest catapult for me as far as my career. I wouldn't be talking to you right now if I hadn't gone on the show, I'm pretty sure," the 36-year-old told Fox.
Daughtry has also released new single Torches, off its greatest hits album It's Not Over…The Hits So Far.
Music aside, he recently portrayed betrayer Judas Iscariot in Fox's live TV musical special The Passion, which aired last month.
The musical, which is a retelling of the story of Jesus Christ set in modern-day New Orleans, saw a number of the show's songs hit several Billboard charts. His cover of US rock band Evanescence's 2003 hit Bring Me To Life sold the most digital downloads among the show's songs.
