Joanne Peh gives birth... it's a girl
Local celebrity couple Joanne Peh and Qi Yuwu welcomed a baby girl at noon on Friday (Aug 7) at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, according to Chinese newspaper reports.
Both mother and daughter are doing well.
Actress Peh, 32, and her China-born actor-husband Qi, 38, got married in a private wedding in Sentosa last September, and announced the pregnancy in January this year.
Qi, who spoke to The New Paper last Tuesday (July 28) during the press conference of local historical movie 1965, had said he prefers girls to boys.
He also shared with TNP that they have already decided on the name for their baby.
He said he came up with the English name while his wife came up with the Chinese name.
