Movie Review: Rubbers (R21)
Local director Han Yew Kwang (18 Grams Of Love, When Hainan Meets Teochew) is known for his quirky sense of humour, and that is reflected in his first sex comedy Rubbers.
It takes a tongue-in-cheek look at how condoms affect the lives of three different people - singleton Baoling (Yeo Yann Yann), playboy Adam (Alaric Tay) and cheating husband Ah Niu (Marcus Chin).
Yeo shows off her hot post-baby bod in a tight tank top and shorts as her character tries to seduce a plumber (Julian Hee) on Valentine's Day.
Tay shines and delivers the most laughs, while Oon Shu An's depiction of a sexy Japanese Ah Lian porn star deserves special mention as hers is an uninhibited, natural performance.
Han's effort in Rubbers is commendable. Catch it for some light-hearted fun
