Jay Chou's Singapore concert next month postponed?
Jay Chou's upcoming concert in Singapore has been pushed back.
The 35-year-old singer-songwriter was scheduled to hold his concert at the Singapore National Stadium on Nov 8.
But local reports said that the Asian sensation's concert has been rescheduled to Dec 8 instead.
There were no reasons given for the postponement.
The Straits Times had earlier reported that the Asian Football Federation (AFF) insisted that stadiums should not be used for any other matches or events a minimum of 15 working days prior to the first match of the AFF Suzuki Cup on Nov 23.
The Suzuki Cup is expected to be held at the National Stadium.
Chou's concert was initially set for Nov 8.
A rugby match was also scheduled for Nov 15 at the National Stadium.
A previous The New Paper report said that Singapore Sports Hub chief operating officer Oon Jin Teik and his team are in discussions with the promoters of rugby match between the Maori All Blacks and the Asia Pacific Dragons.
It said that it too may be postponed or cancelled.
