One sent to hospital after accident at Bedok North Road

A man was sent to the hospital after an accident on Bedok North Road on Tuesday (Dec 22) afternoon.

Pictures sent in by The New Paper reader, Ms Jenny Koh, shows a blue Mazda on the pavement of Bedok North Road, near Block 81.

In the picture, the car had suffered damage to the door on the driver side as well as the windscreen.

While it is unclear how the accident happened, a police spokesman said that the accident involved only one car and that a 38-year-old man was sent to the hospital.

A Singapore Civil Defence Force spokesman said they conveyed the man with chest and abdominal injuries to Changi General Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
