Otterly cool

Joggers enjoying the evening cool yesterday at the Kallang River, which runs through the Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, were joined by some unexpected guests as a family of otters came out to play.
Mobile phones came out in force as the aquatic mammals, seemingly oblivious to the human gawkers, splashed about in the shallow water for about 30 minutes before disappearing into the shadows of a nearby bridge.
Residents say this was not the first time this family of otters have been seen. They have been known to visit the nearby Block 163 via the drains.
