The Gangnam Style hitmaker returns with a pounding, catchy new music video
PSY
DADDY
The Gangnam Style hitmaker's new tune has the makings of a classic Psy video: A pounding, catchy rhythm and a barrage of bizarre images.
Characters include a baby Psy with the South Korean singer's face superimposed over a newborn's, a moustachioed Psy in a sequinned bodysuit flaunting his chest hair, and a grandpa Psy with a comb-over.
At one point, actual Psy - the pop star we all know and love - helps grandpa Psy do sit-ups. Watch it to bring some surreal vibes to your day.
TAUFIK BATISAH
IZINKANKU
The latest single from our first Singapore Idol is so sweet and pleasing to the ear, you may forget it was officially produced to promote the Pioneer Generation Package.
Even if you don't understand Malay, the English subtitles make it easy to follow.
Izinkanku means "allow me" and Taufik croons in his wonderfully smooth vocals to our pioneer generation: "Allow me to try to repay you for all you've done."
The inclusion of some real-life seniors, including a nurse and a policeman, makes it a touching tribute to our elders.
MICAPPELLA
A LITTLE HAPPINESS OF THOSE BYGONE YEARS
The local a cappella group have a new hit on their hands with this mash-up cover, which received over one million views in five days.
It blends two popular Mandarin movie theme songs, Hebe Tien's A Little Happiness from You Are The Apple Of My Eye, and Xia Hu's Those Bygone Years from Our Times, with amazing results.
The sextet star as schoolchildren. We witness their misadventures through sepia-toned lens.
