Time out for Gomez as she battles lupus
US singer Selena Gomez said she will take time off as a result of her ongoing battle with lupus.
She has spent about four months on the road for her Revival world tour, which was set to continue through the end of December.
"Around a year ago, I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways," Gomez, 24, told People magazine.
"I've discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus. I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness, and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off."
She did not say if her concerts will be cancelled.
