Passers-by restrain man for taking upskirt photo
A man who allegedly took an upskirt photo was pinned down by three passers-by yesterday at the Raffles Place MRT station covered walkway.
A police spokesman told The New Paper they got a call for help at 10.30am. A 42-year-old man was arrested for insulting the modesty of a woman.
A witness, who declined to be named, said: "I saw a man running after a shirtless man while shouting for someone to call the police. When he pinned down the man, a crowd started to form."
Two other men stepped forward to help minutes later.
A passer-by said: "One of them kept swatting the shirtless man's hand away from his phone saying, 'Don't let him delete the picture.'"
