Man jailed for attacking brother-in-law with chopper

A jobless man was jailed three and a half years on Friday (March 11) for slashing his brother-in-law multiple times with a chopper on Sept 22 last year.
Lim Chin Poh, 53, who pleaded guilty to one count of voluntarily causing grievous hurt, admitted he had attacked the cabby, Mr Lee Kiat Seng, 50.
Lim lived with his sister and the victim in a Pasir Ris flat.
He came home drunk and slashed Mr Lee in the unprovoked attack which took place around 10.15pm that night.
Mr Lee's face was permanently disfigured.
