Soak up some entertainment too as ONE FM DJs Glenn Ong and Cheryl Miles will be at the Megastore tomorrow (3pm to 5pm) while UFM100.3 DJs Wenhong and Limei will be at Singapore Expo Hall 6B on Monday (3pm to 5pm). Part of the celebration also includes the launch of a specially commissioned Gain City Hello Kitty plush ($19).

All sales proceeds will go towards purchasing a new van specially retrofitted with a wheelchair lifter for non-ambulatory passengers for the Handicaps Welfare Association (HWA), allowing the non-profit organisation to better serve people with disabilities and the rapidly ageing population with a wheelchair-accessible transport service.

GONG CHA

Following the success of the tokidoki x Gong Cha Bubble Tea Funhouse at last month's Shilin Night Market, the Taiwanese bubble tea brand has brought the global lifestyle brand's eye-popping aesthetic and cute characters back - this time into six of its stores.

The Bugis Junction, Westgate, 313@somerset, SingPost Centre, Compass One and Marina Square outlets are now decked out in exclusive tokidoki x Gong Cha prints for a limited period.

Apart from three collaborative flavours - Bambu Boba, Rosa Latte and Berry Biscotti ($5.80, available at most outlets) - limited quantities of tokidoki tumblers ($15.90) and cup sleeves ($8.90) in a brand new design are up for grabs.

With any Gong Cha drink purchased, customers can get the merchandise at $12 and $6 respectively.

IKEA

The Swedish furniture retailer's fifth Ikea Art Event has landed in Singapore, making up a short-term collection that mashes tapestry art, rug handicraft, avant-garde fashion, street culture and modern design.

Eight of the world's hottest creative designers have each produced a contemporary Ikea rug that could look the part in any art gallery, with the bulk of them handmade by artisans from India and Egypt using natural materials.

The rugs ($199 to $599) from featured collaborators SupaKitch, Seulgi Lee, Craig Green, Misaki Kawai, Noah Lyon, Chiaozza and Filip Pagowski are now available at the Ikea Tampines store on a first-come-first-served basis, while stocks last. Purchases are limited to one rug per customer.

Ikea Family members stand a chance to win a limited edition rug from the Art Event collection (including Virgil Abloh's Keep Off design which is not for sale) by filling up the ballot form in-stores from now till Monday.

Celebrate the birth of the US clothing company's iconic original blue denim jeans - which turns 146 years old this year - at the Levi's 501 Day event on Monday, noon to 6pm, at Raffles City Level 1 Garden Court.

View one-of-a-kind designs by local students and artists and join Levi's in awarding the top three 501 Jeans designs from the Design Your 501 Competition.
